Glossybox Review: May

May GlossyBox - The 1st Anniversary Edition!

Hello box of yummy loveliness.....

LOVE this months packaging!

Ta-Daaaa!!! Oooh lovely, right lets go through this one by one shall we? Okey Dokey...

First up...Uniqone All-in-one hair treatment - when I say this smells AMAZING I'm not even joking...I NEED my hair to smell like this.  The first Leave-On mask on the market that offers the 10 main benefits that your hair needs... colour protection, frizz control, heat protection etc etc... read more Here!  RRP : £13.99 150ml.

Bonus this month - cute little compact mirror for my bag - Thanks GlossyBox!

Noble Isle - Summer Rising Cornish Hedgerows Bath & Shower Gel. RRP: £20 / 250ml  To be honest, I'm not sure I would pay £20 for a shower gel... however, I'm a mum of 3 so funds are a little on the lean side at the best of times! If I was a single, working woman, I may just Splash out! Smells gorgeous, looking forward to trying it out! To find out more, read Here!

Weleda Face Cream / Body Milk.  Love Love Love Weleda products!  I'm guessing this is the Body Cream? I can't be sure because none of the packaging is in English :( To read more about the Weleda Range, click Here!

Lolita Lempicka - L'Eau en Blanc & Si Lolita - Loved the L'Eau en Blanc fragrance, but personally don't like Si Lolita - just personal choice, you may love it though!  L'Eau en Blanc is described as a bouquet of white violets with a hint of raspberry and musk will set pulses racing! Lushness! RRP: £65 / 100ml

I have tried. Oh Lord I have TRIED to twist this photograph, but alas there is a bug in my computer that is not liking me. So here you have em....Let's go Lashes! Available in 40 styles, 100% human hair, incredibly easy to apply and reusable! Now these I have got to try because they reckon they are PERFECT for first-timers...VIRGIN falsies if you will.... I'm USELESS at applying false lashes, so if they're easy to stick on, then GO me! RRP: £8.95 per strip. Click HERE to see how to apply them. Easy Peasy.

Also included with this box was a gorgeous, bubblegum pink balloon saying Happy Anniversary Glossy Box! We were encouraged to blow it up, take a picture while holding it, and upload to the GlossyBox Facebook page...... THIS picture you see before you is the result of opening ones glossy box with a small child present. Bye Bye Balloon.

Hope you've enjoyed this month's box, if you'd like to join GlossyBox for just £10 per month plus £2.95 p&p, let me know in the comments - i'd love to refer you to up my GlossyDots, once you're a member, you can too :)

Birthday Shenanigans

I love that word.

Shenanigans.

Shenanigans. Shenanigans. Shenanigans.

I'm not even sure if that's a word. And if it is, if that's how it's spelt.

Anyhoo.... Here's what I got up to on my 21st birthday last week.  BEHOLD the only time you shall see a photograph of me at 7am without a scrap of makeup or even a Bra on.

I know. I'm so sexy at 7am. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

Of course we had cake for Breakfast - as is the Tradition in our house.

Nom Nom.

Three, very excited bed-headed children raced to give me their cards to open first. :)

That card was from Dave about shuving lots of cake and icecream down your gob. Funny much.

The stash!

Showing me how my magic candle works. (((((((SQUEEEEEEZZEEEE)))))))

My present from Dave. This is a whole blog post on its own. Wait for it. It's a good'en...

Gifts, cards and THEE most divine Victoria Sponge ever from my boss and colleagues at ZPM. Yay!

Out for dinner, all alone - no kids! I look huge and flourescent here. Crappy camera on phone.

This was the BEST BEST BEST steak I have ever eaten - literally melt in your mouth. Seriously, if you're ever in Warminster - The Weymouth Arms is THEE place to eat!

Dave's yummy pork tenderloin and stuffs. Yummoooo. (must add: this is pork tenderloin and cheesy balls, but couldn't really write: 'Dave's Pork Tenderloin and Cheesy Balls' now could I?)

How awesome is this mug I got from Zoe? Too bloody right!

So that's it for this years birthday shenanigans, next year is a biggie, so I'm hoping to be whisked away to Paris or New York - hopefully my present will be sparkly, or need a passport to use it. Yay!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes on text, twitter, facebook, el bloggo - you all rock,  like rockstars. xx

Magpie Monday: My first Car Boot Sale

So, if you're linked up to my Facebook Page, you will know that I went to my FIRST car boot sale on Saturday. Car boot sale virgin. I know.

It was A.W.E.S.O.M.E - Dave and I were in 'Magpie Mode' and set each other a challenge to buy something under a Fiver, then whoever makes the most profit by selling it on Ebay wins. Wins...erm... i'm not sure what the prize is, but because its my BIRTHDAY on Thursday I'm hoping it will be a trip to Paris.

Ho Hum.

So, here's my stash:

I bought this for my 'Fiver Challenge' I paid a pound for it. Clearly its not Genuine Ruby. Nor 14kt gold. But it's pretty. And I loved it. If it doesn't make me any profit, then I'll wear it myself. HA!

I have a weird sense of humour. I bought this 1950's postcard for my Dad. He's bald, and he runs a pub, so I thought it would be good on his bar. BWAHAHAH!

This cute little jacket I absolutely LOVE! It seems Brand New... Nice to wear with a maxi skirt or dress, and it's from GAP. The lady selling it said she only wore it once and it was too small (its not my size, but as long as I don't try to button it up over my bazucca's I'm ok. It cost 30p.  THIRTY PENCE PEOPLE.

I'm seriously chuffed with it...

Oh what a thrifter I am... I could get totally addicted. Do you rummage through boot sales / charity shops?

I'm linking this up to Magpie Monday, click the badge below to see more sexy thriftiness!

May PinAddicts Pinterest Challenge!

At long last.... here is my post... Well, I video'ed it for you too... So herewith lies a blog post, and a video.

In honour of the Living Streets Campaign, I scratched my head and dug deep into Pinterest to find Walking Inspired projects.  Although I enjoy walking, I do not DO exercise very well.. So I kinda copped out, and went with this:

summer toenails! pretty sure this is nail art I could actually accomplish, too!
My original pin:  Which I pinned HERE

My version: Yes, my 2nd toe is smudged. I had to redo that toe 5 times. Bear with me people.
Then I moved onto PRINTABLES.... I know, another easy one, but SERIOUSLY I have SO many printables pinned, it was just getting ridiculous. So I rushed off to Asda/Walmart and picked up some cheap cheap frames and printed these which I pinned HERE and HERE

So here we go....

'Scuze the quality, but I had to use my crappy camera phone!

Here's the video for you too..... with THEE most unattractive thumbnail in the world. I've tried to change it. Honestly... I have.  Subscribe to me on Youtube too...

Don't forget to link your project up to Butwhymummywhy , you've got until Monday to do so, and I'll reveal our fabulous prize tomorrow too!!

Glossy Box: April Review

I have tried to VLOG this Glossy Box review for you 3 times. THREE times people. And my Youtubing is not working... It either misses bits out or it makes me look fat. Or my eyebrow starts talking to you - all on it's own. It's a scary place right now. So I'm sticking to what I do best. I'm BLOGGING it baby.

End of story.

The APRIL Glossy box was absolutely FAN-TA-BU-LOUS!!! I would say it's my favourite so far - this month was the 'Natural' Box - so my inner hippie was just feeling completely loved up.

The products were nearly All full sizes too, so I felt this box was GREAT value for money! Just £12.95 incl p&p - BARGAIN for what we received I tell you!

Enough Jibber Jabber - here you go, feast your sexy eyes on THIS caboodle!

Just getting that box... oh that sweet smelling gorgeous little box every month lights up my WEEK!

The stash!! I know... you want... right?!

Figs & Rouge Lip Balm - Full Size... I didn't want to take this out of the packaging.. too gorgeous, in its own sweet little tin! 100% Natural, Organic Lip Balm in Cherry & Vanilla Flavour. I would definitely buy this as a prezzie - RRP, £3.29

Inika Certified Organic Eye Liner in Colour: Graphite.. Full Size! I CANNOT RAVE about this product enough.... To me, eyeliner either looks transvestite, or it looks amazing, there's no inbetween.... THIS product is absolutely amazing... so smooth, and the colour is stunning... RRP around £11 mark, but totally worth it!!!

Burt's Bees... Nourishing Milk & Honey Body Lotion... you know sometimes how organic creams can smell like........... ho hum...........nothing?! Well this is totally different as it smells JUST like milk and honey.. Its LUSH LUSH LUSH. Not sticky, and GREAT for popping into your bag... RRP 70g is £ 5.99.

Monu Moisture Rich Collagen Cream: Relieves dryness & smoothes fine lines, enriched with Rose & Geranium. Great smell, Have started using this so will keep you posted! If it's going to iron out the wrinklies... what's not to love? RRP: £17.50 - 50 ml.

Caudalie S.O.S Thirst Quenching Serum: This high potency serum captures and continually diffuses water deep within the skin to restore it's moisture balance leaving it soft and supple.  To be totally honest, I haven't tried this yet... but I'm going to put it on before bed so let's see how it goes! Full Size 30ml = RRP : £ 29.00

All in all, I was superly impressed with this month's box... Do YOU subscribe to a monthly beauty box?
