Silence. Uninterrupted toilet trips. Shopping alone. No dishes in the sink. Watching whatever I like on the TV.
Yip, you guessed it....... my little darling girls have gone back to school! AND they went back all glammed up thanks to the ASDA Back-To-School range!
We were lucky enough to be chosen to participate in the 'Little Designers' competition - which included selecting a school outfit to the value of £20 . Shanah really needed a new winter school coat and a pinafore, so we snapped up the following from their range: You can click the links to be directed to the product - can you believe this stunning little coat is just £10!?
We love this coat because it's padded for warmth, fleece on the inside and has a clip belt. Shanah wore this ALL day when it arrived in the post - yip, it was 26 degrees that day - mad child. :)
I'm a huge fan of pinafore dresses - much better than tricky skirts to zip and unzip, and they look so flipping cute too. The material is super soft and lovely and thick - this is going to serve her well with some tights this winter!
We went for the short sleeved shirts because she can wear them for both PE and regular uniform, plus its warm inside the classrooms, so she would never handle long sleeve shirts..
Then, she got to decorate her backpack - which came with the most AWESOME fabric crayons - seriously, I'm going to feature those over on our Craft site too soon! Really amazing and great for small hands.
Thanks to ASDA, I was also able to pickup a Black V-Neck school jumper at the 11th hour for my daughters secondary school uniform - only £4 - total bargain! So here are my little treasures on their first day back..
Yip, everything from Asda, except for the branded jumpers, tie and blazer!
Year EIGHT! And Yes, she is going to kill me for putting this up...
Year THREE! (don't worry, we did sort her hair out before we left..)
Year SIX! Last year of primary school - unbelievable...
Worried about the strength or quality of the uniform? Worry no longer, Asda has tried and tested their range by putting it through an actual ASSAULT COURSE. For reals... check this out
